Early Life and Education

Adam Harter hails from Neenah, Wisconsin and attended Olathe Northwest for high school where he lettered three years in football under head coach Chip Sherman, earning all-conference status during his senior year.

As a student, Harter created work inspired by geometry and natural phenomena. For his thesis project, he investigated wave formation through 2-D and 3-D media such as relief prints on newsprint and intricate basswood sculptures to illustrate wave form.

Professional Career

Adam Harter serves as Pepsi Beverages North America’s Senior Vice President, Sports, Media & Entertainment where his focus lies in creating powerful partnerships across areas including Content Development, Music Publishing/Streaming/Downloading/Gaming and Celebrity Talent Management.

He exemplified his calling through projects such as the Pepsi Music Lab, an annual program established in 2021 that is dedicated to breaking down barriers and shining a spotlight on hip-hop artists on their way to becoming superstars – like Too Fiya, WNTRBRK and Kayla Starchild from its inaugural class.

Harter began working with special education students while living in Ohio and achieved his goal of becoming a full-time teacher by landing an opening at Boothbay Region High School three years ago. Here he now teaches one-on-one lessons as well as small group sessions.

Harter was known for being a conservative and textualist judge during his time on the bench, according to The Review-Journal. He earned a reputation for being tough but fair during court proceedings while maintaining a “great poker face”. Additionally, he kept a picture of Marshal Bill Datthyn, who had died while on duty, displayed on his desk at all times.

Harter guided women athletes to more than 80 All-America certificates in cross country running and track and field, including four Olympic team selections in javelin. Additionally, his 1989 club team captured The Athletics Congress senior track and field national championship.
