Adam Stadium is an American Football Wide Receiver
Xenia Community School District has officially initiated plans to renovate Doug Adams Stadium, an increasingly high-traffic venue over time. According to officials, this renovation should cost no more than $3 Million.
As well as housing the high schools in Xenia, this stadium serves a range of sports activities; Friday Night Football games regularly draw between 2,500-3,000 spectators to watch on Friday Nights.
Early Life and Education
The stadium, home to many Xenia sports teams, will undergo a major renovation. The plan involves replacing current lighting towers with four energy-efficient LED towers and upgrading bleachers with press boxes and larger capacity seating areas. School board approved Monday and expects it to be finished by 2023; community support was unanimous for creating an alternative central community gathering space featuring green stormwater technology as part of a vision for replacing it with mixed uses including affordable housing – an estimated total project cost is no more than $3 Million.
