Anika George is an American designer with extensive experience working for various companies. Her skills encompass research, visual design, art direction and branding.
She has also created design solutions with an interdisciplinary team of designers, strategists, copywriters and developers. Currently she holds the role of Lead Designer at Cactus.
Early Life and Education
Anika George has been around for some time, but her leadership skills as executive director of the Arlington County Commission for the Arts are what really set her apart. Her dedication to fostering equity within the arts and cultural sector earned her admiration from those within and outside her organization – including Mayor Wilson and her fellow commissioners.
Her career began in Fremont, where she worked as a stage manager, producer and gallery coordinator before moving to NYC in 2014. A lifelong fan of theatre, she has had the chance to collaborate with some of America’s finest actors and directors. Additionally, she enjoys musicals – which has allowed her to participate in some exciting productions throughout New York. Together with her husband Stephen they have two daughters named Kyra and Briley.

On Friday, Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Sherrie Miday sentenced Anika George and her boyfriend Andre Boynton to life in prison for running a child xes ring that victimized four impoverished boys and a disabled girl. George and Boynton planned and carried out the kidnapping and rapes themselves according to Judge Miday’s ruling.
Prosecutors allege the pair recorded and photographed sexual acts with victims on cellphones, as well as taking pictures of elderly patients at the nursing home where they worked in various stages of undress.
