Arian Eteghaie in Custody

Arian Eteghaie has been in several legal scuffles with the law over the past year, involving serious felonies and sexual assault. He is currently on bail but remains banned from the UCSB campus and Isla Vista. Eteghaie has two bracelets. One is a S.C.R.A.M. One bracelet tracks alcohol consumption and the other tracks his location using a GPS location-tracking bracelet.

In June, Eteghaie was charged with seven felony sexual assault counts and one misdemeanor. He now faces 16 additional felony sexual assault charges. These range from October 2020 to June 2021. He pleaded not guilty in the first case to all charges. His new cases are currently being reviewed. His trial is currently underway. It is important to understand that Eteghaie may be in custody while his trial continues.
