Gwen Good – Video Installations
In addition to the traditional media, Gwen Good also produces video installations. Her work spans three decades and ranges from photorealistic animations to computer graphics effects and simulations. Her work often combines hard technological innovation with soft aesthetics. Her education includes both traditional media and the natural sciences. Gwen studied art and natural science at the University of Minnesota. She has been exhibiting her work all over the country and has a career as an artist in visual arts.
She was very interested in science and art from a young age. She was fascinated early computer graphics pioneers and developed her own image-rendering program. Her education also included advanced courses in programming and calculus, as well as attending technical conferences where she exchanged ideas with researchers and universities. Her art combines science, technology, and art to create dramatic imagery. Here are a few of her most notable works.
