Dan Altobello

Dan Altobello has served on Mesa Air Group’s Board since 1998 and currently also sits on those for Colorado Prime Foods, Atlantic Aviation Holdings and Diamondrock Hospitality Company.

He currently serves as Chairman of Mount Holyoke College and Lead Independent Director for Arlington Asset Investment Corp. His educational background includes both a BA from Georgetown University and an M.B.A from Loyola College Graduate School.

Early Life and Education

He served on the boards of numerous public companies, such as DiamondRock Hospitality Company – a publicly traded hotel REIT; NorthStar Healthcare Income Inc – an unlisted non-traded REIT; Mesa Air Group Inc and Loyola Foundation Incorp. He was also on both Loyola Foundation Incorp and Suburban Hospital Foundation Inc’s boards of trustees.

He graduated from Churchill High School, where he competed on the lacrosse team, earning three varsity letters and All-Met honors each season he played. Additionally, he holds an M.B.A. from Loyola College.

Erich Altobello serves as Chairman of Altobello Family Partners and Director for Onex Food Services Inc and Caterair International. Since June 2000 he has also been the Lead Independent Director at Arlington Asset Investment Corporationration.

Professional Career

Daniel Altobello currently serves as Lead Independent Director and Chairman of Arlington Asset Investment Corporationration as well as Altobello Family LP. In addition, he served on Onex Food Services Inc, which was the parent company of Caterair International and LSG-SKY Chefs from 1979 until 1989; during which time he held various managerial positions within their in-flight catering division of Marriott Corporation.

Since July 2004, Mr. Fahy has served on the board of directors at DiamondRock Hospitality Company, a publicly traded hotel REIT. Additionally, he serves as director for NorthStar Healthcare Income (a publicly nontraded REIT), MamaMancinis and Mesa Air Group – in addition to serving on JER Investors Trust from April 2004 until March 2010. Mr. Fahy earned both a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and Master of Business Administration at Loyola College.

Achievement and Honors

Altobello earned himself the BAFTA Award for Best Newcomer with his role in Baby Doll, earning him recognition. Other noteworthy roles he’s taken on include Calvera from The Magnificent Seven, Guido from The Misfits, and Tuco in The Good, Bad, and Ugly.

Since 1998, Mr. Legg has served as Lead Director for the Company. Additionally, he serves as Chairman of Mount Holyoke College Board of Trustees as well as being an active member of both Compensation Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.

At Churchill, he earned three varsity letters for lacrosse… Received BIG EAST Attack Player of the Week honors after scoring five goals against Robert Morris (2/17) and No. 19 Towson (3/24)… Went on to become Churchill’s top scorer during regular season play with 40 goals and 21 assists.

Personal Life

Dan Altobello serves as Chairman of Altobello Family Partners, a private investment company. Additionally, he serves as Lead Director and member of Mesa Air Group’s Compensation Committee and Corporate Governance/Nominating Committee. Lastly, he retired from Onex Food Service (the parent company of Caterair International and LSG Sky Chefs).

Early in his life, Michael Corleone was close to Vito Corleone and stood with Connie during her baptism. However, during Godfather III he turned against them all by planning Michael’s assassination.

He serves as Trustee of Loyola Foundation, Inc and Suburban Hospital Foundation and as Board Member for Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown University. Additionally, he serves on the boards of DiamondRock Hospitality Company- a public hotel REIT; NorthStar Healthcare Income- a nontraded REIT- and MamaMancini’s Holdings Inc as director.
