Early Life and Education

DeBroux attended Crestwood Elementary and Antigo High Schools before turning his back on his faith and finding employment on dairy farms and in the woods. Over time he realized he needed spiritual guidance, so he started attending meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous where he says he has gained more wisdom than expected.

Debroux felt guided by God to open an adult family home at St. Joseph rectory in Phlox. It has proven life-altering for both of them.

DeBroux leaves behind his beloved wife of 43 years, Mel; daughters Susan (Donald) Dietzen of Mazomanie; Cynthia Huss (Tony), Kaukauna; and Lynn Hacker, Oconomowoc. Additionally he leaves two sons, Mark and Daniel; grandchildren Donald Tracy Amber Jeremy as well as great-grandchildren Christine Jamesin Lee and Isabelle Cornelius-Logan who all cherish his memory.

Daniel Debroux worked as the Manager, Voice Systems at Hiawatha Broadband Communications since 1992, according to ZoomInfo. Throughout his time there he held various roles within the organization before currently holding this title as part of Cable & Satellite industry in Minnesota, United States.

Antigo High School was his playground during the 1960s. Additionally, he proudly served with Antigo National Guard unit. At St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church of Two Rivers, he served as Exalted Ruler of the Two Rivers Elks as well as holding several office and committee positions.

He enjoyed fishing for trout and enjoyed hooking latch hook rugs to give to family and friends as gifts. Additionally, he served on both Two Rivers Community Hospital Board and Mueller Manor Board during his lifetime.
