He was arrested as the sergeant at arms for the Pagans’ Jersey City membership chapter when he was charged in June 2020 with possessing cocaine and firearms for drug trafficking activities.

He became well-known for posting controversial videos to TikTok and other social media platforms that did not always paint his former MC in an admirable light. Additionally, he appeared as a guest on an episode of Insane Throttle Biker News.
On Friday morning, Richmond police responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and sedan at 5500 Hull Street Road in Richmond. Unfortunately, one rider died at the scene while their passenger remained present according to authorities.
Daniel Hooban, 33, was an ex-member of the Pagans motorcycle gang and served as its Jersey City membership chapter sergeant at arms until being arrested by authorities following a search of his home where drugs and firearms were discovered. Charges included possessing firearms by felons; possessing cocaine with intent to distribute; and possession in furtherance of drug trafficking crimes. On Monday via Zoom video conference Daniel pleaded guilty to all three charges before federal court via Zoom video link – also posting contentious videos onto TikTok as well as being featured on Insane Throttle Biker News episode 7.

Hooban was well known throughout his county for the quality of his tradesman work, serving family, friends and colleagues with distinction. A beloved member of his community who was greatly esteemed, Hooban will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Hooban was arrested as part of a federal probe into Pagans, an outlaw gang linked to violent assaults and drug distribution throughout New Jersey. Authorities located 33 grams of cocaine and eight grams of cocaine base at his home along with an illegal firearm according to criminal complaints against Hooban.

Hooban was arrested after law enforcement officers searched his Bayonne home in June 2020 and discovered approximately 30 grams of cocaine and a loaded firearm, both with intent to distribute. Hooban was charged with possession of firearms by convicted felons; possession with intent to distribute quantity of cocaine; and possessing weapon for drug trafficking crimes.
Police were dispatched to the 5500 Block of Hull Street Road near Linwood Avenue at about 6:30 AM on Friday and found a motorcyclist lying down with fatal injuries, while his sedan driver remained present at the scene.
