Daniel Wartan passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. He was the loving partner of Tiffany Santiago and step-father to Jayla and Ryan; son to Dan and Denise Wartan as well as brother Vince (Zoe). Additionally, Danny will be missed by Blaze and Blue his beloved pets.

Daniel J Wartan passed away peacefully on February 27, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the beloved husband of Tiffany Santiago and loving stepfather to Jayla and Ryan, as well as being beloved son to Dan and Denise Wartan and brother Vince (Zoe). Daniel left behind many aunts, uncles, as well as his beloved pets Blaze and Blue who will all miss him dearly. Memorial donations may be made in his memory with visitations scheduled at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (6150 North Cicero Avenue Chicago 60646) on February 28, 2023 from 4-7pm for visitation before his funeral and visitation service takes place on March 3rd 2024 from 6150 North Cicero Avenue Chicago 60646 for burial services to commemorate him and visitation takes place there on March 4th 6150 North Cicero Avenue Chicago 60646 for Visitations as well.
Achievement and Honors
Vartan began his film career by starring in small French films before landing a supporting role in “To Wong Foo, Thank You Julie Newmar”. Later, he co-starred in “The Pallbearer”, an action comedy in which three old high school friends face marriage, bachelorhood and an issue of mistaken identity.
Vartan was also featured as Agent Michael Vaughn on ABC’s smash hit television series Alias. For his performance in an episode based on E.L. Doctorow’s “The Whole Wide World,” Vartan earned an International Emmy nomination.
Recently he starred in the crime drama “Small Town Crime”, co-starring Academy Award nominee John Hawkes. This tale centers around Mike, an ex-cop drinking too much who hires a private detective to solve a murder in his small hometown.

Unfortunately he passed away February 27, 2023 at 30 years old – we will all miss him dearly.
