A Biography of Daniel Schuh

Early Life and Education

Schuh was taught the piano and violin as a child before attending University of California Berkeley to study music theory and composition. While at Berkeley he participated in campus choir activities as well as co-founding an a capella group known as The Good Guys.

Schuh was a dedicated and loving husband for more than 65 years to his wife, Ruth. He leaves three children: Drs. Alex Schuh, Kate Schuh White, and Liz Schuh Tuncer as well as 10 grandchildren behind.

Later in his life, he became well-known for his generosity. He would often give money away on the street or open his home up to those in need.
