David Burkholder is the Deputy Executive Director for International Affairs at the Federal Aviation Administration. In this capacity, he oversees all FAA initiatives related to international policy, global affairs, technical and operational support as well as strategic direction to further aviation safety and standards advancement worldwide.

Early Life and Education
David Burkholder was born in 1932 and raised with his siblings in Millcreek, Pennsylvania. After attending school there, he went on to Davenport College.
Before returning to school, he worked at a bank. Ultimately, he married Frances and they raised their three sons together in Comstock Park, Michigan.
He was a member of Carpenters Community Church in Talmage and Life Gate Church in Elizabethtown. He served many people by visiting nursing homes, shut-ins, hospitals and jails; preaching about Jesus Christ personally to them. As a loving husband and father he will be remembered for his wonderful kindness and care; an inspirational example of living your life for God’s Glory!
