David “Rook” Goldflies is a musician from Oxford, Ohio who has worked with many bands including Starstruck and Ram Jam. He also served as bassist in the Allman Brothers Band and Dickey Betts & Great Southern.

He is now co-founding the Allman Goldflies Band with raspy voiced blues man Gary Allman (cousin of Gregg and Duane Allman) on keyboards and vocals. Their debut album, Second Chance, released in March 2018, is an independent release that covers a wide swath of the Southern rock landscape.
