But, this didn’t seem to stop him from continuing to do what he loved. He released his last album, “Memphis, Tennessee”, and appeared in many films and television shows.

Until today, the real reason Bow Wow died was not known. But now, his drug addiction is. The rap star, who was found dead on Saturday in his Los Angeles home, had been struggling with a substance addiction for years.

Bow Wow has recently opened up about his struggle with drug addiction. After reading the news about Mac Miller’s apparent overdose, he used Miller’s death as an opportunity to send a message to younger fans. He revealed that he used a substance called lean, a combination of codeine and soda, on a daily basis when he was touring with Chris Brown. He said the sudden cut-off caused withdrawals.

Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Gregory Moss, began rapping at the age of 14 and released his debut album “Beware of Dog” in 2000. It sold more than three million copies worldwide. His follow-up album, “Doggy Bag,” also sold well, earning him Billboard’s single of the year award.
