George Capsis is a well-known and beloved member of his community. He often takes time out of his busy schedule to reach out and share his faith with those around him.

He has been an active member of the community for many years and currently leading a fundraising drive to build a new hospital in West Village.

Early Life and Education

George’s early life was profoundly shaped by her parents’ love. Married for sixty-one years, her dad was an avid reader who instilled in her an appreciation of ethics and integrity.

Her childhood was filled with fun, adventure and friendships. She fondly remembered the antics of her four best friends on Maple Street in Westfield, New Jersey as they played hopscotch and skated during summer months.

Her grandparents on both sides had a profound effect on her development as an individual. Her paternal grandfather was described as a “rather foreboding man,” while her maternal grandparents were warm, caring individuals.

George is a self-avowed professional snob and an educator at heart. After earning his master’s in education from the University of Pennsylvania, he has worked in K-12 public school administration ever since. Currently serving as Central Office Administrator for a large suburban district near Washington D.C. with expertise in public relations, marketing and communications, George is no ordinary administrator!

He has a keen interest in technology and is often invited to speak at regional and national educational conferences. Additionally, he has written several books including the best-selling Perfect Enough. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his two children outdoors while striving to make a positive impact on society. As part of the tech community, his enthusiasm never wavers.

Achievements and Honors

George Capis’ accomplishments and honors included his role as a member of the Board of Trustees at Lawrence College. Additionally, he served on the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education’s board and served as trustee for the International Education Society.

George was also honored with an honorary degree from Hiram College for his commitment to his studies and upholding the ideals and objectives of the college. At their Spring Honors Convocation, he was recognized for his achievements both on campus and in the community.

He was also named a 2022 National Academy of Inventors Fellow, one of 143 innovators recognized this year. Through his inventions and facilitations, he has made significant improvements in quality of life, economic development and society at large.

Personal Life

George capsis has achieved great success in his professional career, yet he maintains a private life. To keep his personal life private, he limits the number of social media accounts he has and avoids posting photos that reveal too much about his body type.

One of his greatest achievements was being the first actor to star in a television show that ran more than one episode. He played Buz Murdock for three seasons on Route 66 TV series, making the most of his talents while portraying such an intricate character.
