‘Hocus Pocus 2’

‘Hocus Pocus 2’ is the sequel to the 1993 cult classic Halloween film. It is directed by Anne Fletcher and stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sam Richardson. It is available to watch on Disney+ beginning on September 30.

“Hocus Pocus 2” brings back the Sanderson sisters, a group of wicked 17th-century witches who prey on children to restore their youth. Three young women accidentally bring the sisters back to the present day, where they must stop them from wreaking havoc on Salem. This time, the Sanderson sisters are seeking revenge for their father’s death.

The film also features Doug Jones, who reprises his role as Billy Butcherson, a hapless zombie who lit the Black Flame Candle. The film also features three stand-in extras who play Max Dennison, Allison Watts, and Dani Dennison.

Hocus Pocus 2 also adds some welcome diversity, including drag queens, drag parents, and a new black cat. This film also pays tribute to the original movie and resurrects some of the loose ends from the 1993 movie. It is also a part of Disney+’s Hallowstream celebration.

“Hocus Pocus” became a cult classic and gained a huge fan base through VHS rentals and cable television. It has since become a yearly tradition for many families. The sequel follows the story of Winnie (Bette Midler) and Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker) who are banished from Salem during the witch trials. The sisters are now resurrected and set out to seek revenge against the high school students. They prey on children to restore their youth and make amends with Mayor’s daughter Cassie (Lilia Buckingham). They make use of a new black cat, a Medusa Lady, and the Master Devil.

‘Hocus Pocus 2’ does a good job of capturing the spirit of the original, but it does not stand on its own. It isn’t as funny, violent, or as exciting as the original. However, it is a great tribute to the movie and a great gift for fans. It’s also very family-friendly. The trailers tease a Halloween heist that will be a lot more than just a heist.
