Studies at Bolton School included performing in amateur theatre productions and attending Stratford-upon-Avon theatre festivals to see great actors perform live.
After returning to Canada, he established several successful businesses – an electronics store and service company among them – as well as being highly involved with his community by serving on boards for several non-profit organizations as well as volunteering his services at local sports teams.

Ian Henry is Group CR Director for Magherafelt-based construction firm Henry Brothers and recently received an MBE for his contributions in business sustainability. This honour was bestowed as part of Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
He served as director of coaching at Saint Louis Scott Gallagher Club, where he oversaw 180 of the city’s finest youth players across five age groups. Over his three-year tenure with this club he assisted several NCAA Division I athletes and seven US National Team representatives with their coaching needs.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Missouri Baptist University and coaching licenses from both the Football Association of Ireland and United Soccer Federation. Before coming to Drury, he led their men’s soccer program to 28 victories and an appearance in NCAA Division II Tournament Round 2.
