John Binger is a lawyer and prosecutor for the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office. He also happens to be the father of three children.
He has been a prosecutor for over 16 years, beginning his career at the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office before joining Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office.
Early Life and Education
Bronson Binger, an architect and former New York City Parks Commissioner, has been an influential member of the preservation community for four decades. Throughout that time, he has spearheaded numerous campaigns to save landmark buildings such as Carnegie Hill and the Metropolitan Opera House.
He is an enthusiastic supporter of the arts and education. He has taught classes on educational theory, with a particular interest in living and learning globally.

John Binger has earned a number of distinctions and awards throughout his career. He was included on Macalester College Alumni Association’s Top 100 Most Influential People list as well as being inducted into the esteemed University of Minnesota President’s Club.
Binger has been recognized by USA Hockey as a Brian Fishman Fellow for his accomplishments in athletic communications. Throughout the past year, he played an essential role in USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program’s communications department; additionally, he served as main contact for the U.S. at the 2021 IIHF Under-18 Men’s World Championship and previously worked as digital content coordinator at Under-17 Five Nations and Four Nations tournaments. At present, he is a senior at University of Northern Iowa studying Business Administration.

John Binger is a Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney. He has been in the criminal justice system since graduating from University of Michigan Law School in 1996, prosecuting cases in Milwaukee County before joining Kenosha County D.A. Office as Assistant District Attorney.
He’s been the focus of attention in this case, sometimes appearing to be out of his element. Judge Schroeder reprimanded him for bringing up information previously denied to court about Rittenhouse’s history with an AR-15 rifle; however, it was his pointer-point that caused controversy online; breaking a basic rule of gun safety: never point it at someone else! Ultimately, Rittenhouse was found not guilty by a unanimous jury and left with an emotional mistrial – leaving the state facing disaster on their hands.
