Leanne Wong is an accomplished American artistic gymnast. She is best known as one of two Olympic alternates and members of Team USA national team; additionally, her team competed at 2019 Pan American Games where they earned gold.

Leanne Wong is an American artistic gymnast who has quickly reached the pinnacle of her career in only three short years. Leanne Wong is the daughter of Marco Wong and Bee Ding, both research scientists. She has two younger brothers named Michael and Brendan whom she enjoys visiting and spending time with; Leanne likes exploring, cooking and playing piano during her free time – something which keeps her active at 5 feet 1 inch.
Wong successfully manages life as an elite gymnast, pre-med student and business owner. She founded Leanne’s Bowtique as part of an elective class at Blue Valley High School – creating custom bow and leotard collections designed specifically for her customers.
In 2022, she made her world championship debut in Liverpool and earned the silver medal on floor exercise while helping lead her team to gold medal status. Additionally, she earned two consecutive silver medals at NCAA Championship events (2022-2023).
At the 2019 GK US Classic, Wong placed fifth overall and fourth on vault, uneven bars and balance beam. She currently competes for Florida Gators women’s gymnastics program while enjoying sightseeing and cooking as her hobbies in her free time.

Leanne Wong has many interests and passions, including culinary arts. In 2014 she entered the restaurant business by opening Koko Head Cafe – a charming brunch house with an island vibe. Since moving to Malu she plans on expanding this successful venture.
She managed to redeem herself after being named as a non-traveling alternate for the 2019 World Championships team by earning back her spot at the 2021 World Cup, placing second in all-around final behind Angelina Melnikova and ahead of Kayla DiCello, Konnor McClain, and eMjae Frazier in all categories except balance beam exercise where she placed fourth overall and floor exercise where she placed fifth respectively.
Talented gymnast, she hails from a close-knit family consisting of both parents and two younger research scientists as brothers. Both her parents have always encouraged and supported her career endeavors.
