These herb and garlic marinated olives make an easy appetizer that’s great for parties or gatherings. Plus, you can prepare them ahead of time and store in the fridge until required!
Oven-roasted peanuts provide heart-healthy oleic acid and antioxidants. Our mix includes Castelvetrano, Cerignola, Gaeta, and Nicoise varieties and is preserved using natural low salt brine curing.
Early Life and Education
Olive trees are long-lived trees with extreme drought resistance. Due to this longevity, growing olives is an attractive low-maintenance form of farming.
Olives contain bitter-tasting seeds to prevent their seeds from being digested by seed-crunching mammals and microorganisms, and also to deter birds from pecking at the fruit.
Olive pit size, fragmentation patterns and pollen data demonstrate that large quantities of table olives were prepared at Hishuley Carmel on Israel’s northern Mediterranean coast during the mid-7th millennium BP inundated site – making these among the oldest known examples of cultivation ever seen.
Achievement and Honors

These Makri olives, harvested both early and late ripening Makri varieties, are naturally fermented in brine for optimal flavour and texture. Their naturally high levels of polyphenol antioxidants (hydroxytyrosol and tyrosol), help support healthy blood cholesterol levels and are Australian grown at Fedra’s Olive Grove in Collector NSW.

Italian mixed olives make an irresistibly delicious addition to antipasto platters and are packed with heart-healthy fats and antioxidants, pairing well with salads, pasta dishes or stews alike.
Olives can be stored in brine to retain their shape and color while being preserved. Furthermore, spices or herbs are often added for extra flavoring.
MJ is an enthusiastic member of the Australian Olive Association (AOA). Under his stewardship, Olives SA organized several working bees to assist Ronald & Ethne Baker’s recovery efforts at Woodside Farm after the December 20, 2019 bushfires, and participated in AOA’s consumer education program by hosting local field days and table olive tasting events.
