Early Life and Education

Oliver Stills was born in London, England to Stephen Stills – one of the members of Crosby, Stills and Nash – and Kristen Stills and attended University of Pennsylvania where he won several student prizes.

In 2002, Oliver launched his inaugural charity establishment “Fifteen”, training fifteen young people from disadvantaged backgrounds or criminal records for careers in the restaurant industry. This initiative proved enormously popular and subsequent Fifteen restaurants have since opened worldwide.

Oliver hosts the TV show The Naked Chef and wrote the accompanying cookbook which became a top seller in the UK. Oliver advocates healthy eating practices, campaigning against junk food in British schools.

Professional Career

Oliver is an accomplished singer-songwriter who has performed on the Skunk Train between Fort Bragg and Willits, California. Additionally, he acted and worked as a variety show performer at LaVal’s, an underground bar in San Francisco.

He is the nephew of professional wrestler Rip Oliver and an avid admirer of legendary Florida wrestling announcer Gordon Solie, whom he was introduced to through Solie’s Vintage Wrestling website which dates back to 1995 and remains active today.

Oliver loves living in Texas and particularly enjoys its warm temperatures and variety of cuisine that Houston provides. Although blunt in his criticisms of others, Oliver often attempts to support their careers and is extremely fond of his bulldog Winnie – both things which bring great comfort to Oliver. Achievement and Honors

At three months old, Oliver was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and severe cardiac issues. Although doctors predicted he might not survive the surgery he required, through hard work, perseverance, and determination he proved them all wrong.

He has won multiple awards for his picture books, such as New York Times bestseller The Incredible Book Eating Boy and This Moose Belongs to Me (also winning Smarties award in UK). He serves as an inspiring role model who shows that with proper support anyone can achieve great things.

He continues to host workshops at CMU Los Angeles for students enrolled in its Master of Entertainment Industry Management program, which is jointly offered by College of Fine Arts and Heinz College. In addition, he serves on its Dean Council.

Personal Life

The musician has been married three times and is father to four children – Justin Stills (his eldest), Alex and Jen (both daughters) as well as Oliver Ragland, another son.

Stills was married to Veronique Sanson before dating singer-songwriter Judy Collins (for whom he wrote Suite: Judy Blue Eyes). Additionally, Stills has also had relationships with Rita Coolidge and Nancy Priddy.

Stills draws great inspiration from his family for his music. He keeps an account on TikTok and frequently shares updates about them; recently posting a video of his son singing Jack Johnson’s “In Color.” It is evident that this family loves music!
