Rebecca Oliver has an extensive background working in higher education. She served as professor and director of honors colleges at Arkansas State University.

Oliver is a US-British comedian, writer, and political commentator best known as host of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as well as presenter of Last Week Tonight. Rebecca Oliver was the daughter of a butcher and an agricultural labourer; although born into lower class surroundings, Rebecca made the most out of every opportunity she was afforded.
