Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb Rock a Halloween Costume Inspired by “O”

Today show co-hosts are no strangers to dressing up for Halloween. This year, they decided to go with a theme reminiscent of Cirque du Soleil’s “O” stage production, which is currently playing in Las Vegas. They dressed up in costumes inspired by the spectacle and even reenacted a famous Budweiser ad. Their costumes were a hit with viewers who appreciated their enthusiasm and fun approach to Halloween.

During the show, host Savannah Guthrie and correspondent Hoda Kotb showed off their talents as Cirque du Soleil performers. Hoda wore a platinum blonde wig and a black-and-silver mini dress. She also wore a pair of white gloves. The costume was a great way to show off her impressive tap dancing skills.

Other co-hosts also opted to dress up for the holiday. Kathie Lee Gifford, Al Roker and Craig Melvin all opted to dress up as their favorite Broadway stars. In addition, Katie Couric and Machine Gun Kelly also went all out. But none topped Savannah Guthrie’s Halloween costume. A hoop-themed version of her show’s theme song was played on the microphone to highlight her costume.

Among the many other costumes worn by the Today show crew, Hoda and Savannah’s Cirque du Soleil performance was a definite standout. Not only did they both have incredible talent, but their costumes were also a lot of fun. Besides performing aerial feats, they also took the time to show off their stunt-stunt skills. One of the highlights of their routine was a touchdown dance that featured plenty of risque moves.

As if that weren’t enough, they were even able to make a joke about tugging their hemlines while on air. And for a co-host, that is a good thing!

These characters included a superhero, a showgirl, a superhero’s sidekick, a magician, a duchess, and a princess. Some hosts even put on costumes to resemble their favorite football teams.

To top off the festivities, the co-hosts had a fun game. First, they teamed up to recreate a Budweiser ‘whassup’ commercial. Next, they performed a series of skits that included a “Today” and a “Super Bowl” theme. Finally, they channeled a few of their favorite Broadway and Las Vegas characters.
