Aresty began his clothing industry career as a clerk for a Greenwich, CT firm before co-founding Alfred Dunner – a manufacturer of women’s apparel – with two of his brothers in the early Sixties. After retiring from apparel retail in 1995, Joseph Aresty established The Catherine and Joseph Aresty Foundation with a mission of charitable outreach that prioritizes education.
