Steven Brewer had spent over two decades as a journalist before turning his skills to writing fiction. His experience gave him the skill of persevering until his manuscripts took form.

He served Worcester, Franklin and Hampshire counties from 1997 until 2015 as a Massachusetts State Senator and also coaches Thiel’s men’s volleyball team.
