Stevie Yost – The Man Behind the Twitter Hashtag (#yosted)
Stevie grew up in an abusive household and never learned to communicate effectively; therefore he remained quiet, shy, and distant throughout his childhood.
Yost worked at the prison department for 30.5 years. Twice weekly for many years he drove prison buses roundtrip from Goldsboro and back.
Yost quickly responded when JobsOhio was discovered to be concealing payroll information by acting as auditor for them.
Early Life and Education
Major-league baseball managers have earned themselves many titles over time: taxidermist, catcher, grinder, idiot and Twitter hashtag (#yosted). Furthermore, one even manages a World Series championship team!
After an uneven start to their season, Yost quickly found his footing as manager of the Royals and steadily kept them competitive in both division and wild-card races throughout summer. By June’s end he had established himself as an unconventional manager who wouldn’t follow conventional wisdom.
Steve serves as co-chair of AYZ’s Civil & Commercial Litigation Practice and as a member of its Education Law and Employment & Labor Law practices. He has represented public entities and officials in cases with statewide significance, he holds an AV Preeminent Martindale-Hubbell rating for high ethical standards, was born and lives with his wife in Salem Pennsylvania.
Professional Career
Kestrel Advisors, his consulting firm that provides credit risk management to banks and financial communities. He served as regional chief credit officer of Comerica Bank before holding various senior roles with Imperial Bank, First Interstate Bank and Mellon Bank N.A.
In 1908, he made his cinematic debut in the Civil War drama The Guerrilla by Biograph. Since then he had appeared in more than 90 films as part of this career.
Since 1997, he has led the EDC in Catawba County as it diversifies after textile and furniture jobs shifted away. Additionally, he served on Kennametal Inc’s board and UNOVA’s, and chaired its 18th Annual Karmanos Dinner benefitting Cancer Institute of Greater Detroit.

Yost has received many honors and awards for his dedication to law enforcement and his community over 31 years of police work as a commander, trainer, criminal intelligence analyst and Ohio Law Enforcement Training Commission leader. Additionally, he serves on the board of several Dayton nonprofit organizations.
Yost is a dedicated and professional real estate professional who works tirelessly to assist his agents. He is knowledgeable about his field, which contributes to high sales volumes and happy customers.
Yost’s dedication to golf has earned him several accolades and awards. In recognition of his work with First Tee Four Corners he earned the PGA Player Development Award, while being honored as a member of Sun Country PGA Section.

Over the years, he has worked closely with numerous individuals – all four Salem City School division superintendents and various city managers included. He takes great pride in being from Roanoke but making an impactful statement here in Salem.
He serves as an excellent role model, always willing to assist those in need. Furthermore, his good natured nature and caring nature makes him a pleasure to work with. Furthermore, his peers greatly respect him while having built an outstanding reputation within their community.
