Early Life and Education
Tanner was the youngest of ten siblings.
He was an introverted child, yet his talent in horsemanship quickly stood out. Given responsibility for managing unruly horses on his family farm, and becoming known for his horsemanship skills in the community.
After serving an LDS mission to Europe, Tanner returned home and took up teaching at his local seminary. While struggling to make ends meet and repay his debts, his desire for redemption led him to start selling seminary graduation pins and class rings from his car’s trunk.
He is well known for his generosity; he has donated more than forty fountains to communities, hospitals, colleges and universities as gifts. Additionally, he endows lectures including the world-famous Tanner Lectures on Human Values held at University of Utah and other prestigious institutions.
Tanner has earned his Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) credentials, applying his deep understanding of advanced investment theory to deliver sophisticated and intelligent investment management. Knowledge is at the core of everything he does and integrity remains key in everything he does.
He is responsible for developing and implementing Andina Advisors’ investment strategies as well as leading its research team. In addition, he serves as chairman of its internal investment committee and oversees their due diligence monitoring processes.
Hoffman is an experienced healthcare executive and brings to Tanner an abundance of expertise in hospital administration and business development. As enterprise chief medical officer and chief quality officer, he is charged with overseeing services including physician credentialing, clinical documentation, data analytics as well as supporting population health management initiatives within the system.

Tanner Adams was an esteemed artist renowned for exhibiting his works at major museums across the nation, earning various accolades during his distinguished career and becoming an inductee into the National Academy of Design.
One of his greatest achievements was founding the Tanner Lectures on Human Values, delivered at Oxford, Harvard and other universities around the world. Furthermore, he established annual “Gift of Music” concerts featuring Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Utah Symphony that give access to world-renowned musicians for those unable to afford them otherwise.
As an active philanthropist, he donated several fountains to hospitals and universities nationwide. Furthermore, he was an ardent member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Most notably, Tanner founded a state-of-the-art center for research in arts and humanities at the University of Utah – one that serves as a repository of information, as well as hosting lectures about human values called Tanner Lectures on Human Values.
