Getting Involved In Irish Dance Dresses
One of the most fun activities my daughters have is Irish dancing. Katie Rose is a bit of a dance fanatic and Caoimhe is a true genus. It’s not surprising that she’s one of the most active girls in her class. Not only is she a great dancer but she is also a bit of a social butterfly. In fact, it’s not uncommon to see her at an event three nights a week.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of her hobby is getting to know the other members of her dancing clique. The group’s collective love of Irish dancing extends beyond the competitive circuit. For starters, they all attend the same local Irish dancing club. This is where they get to rub elbows with other elite competitors in the form of some of the most recognizable stars in the Irish dance community. They also get the opportunity to participate in the plethora of competitions that take place in and around the local area. Some of these events last for up to five hours and can stretch into the night depending on the number of participants.
Getting involved in Irish dancing can be expensive but the experience is well worth it. After all, it’s not every day you get to play with a top flight team from the land of the Irish. Even if you’re just starting out, there’s a plethora of resources to learn from. You can also make friends with a new set of peers by joining a local club. Luckily, there’s no shortage of these clubs in the greater Belfast area. A quick Google search of ‘clubs in Belfast’ will provide a long list of options.
However, you don’t have to be an accomplished dancer to take part in the fun. There are some fantastic schools and centres that offer free lessons or affordable tuition. If you’re looking to take your Irish dancing skills to the next level, you’ll definitely want to look into some of these programs. As with any new activity, you’ll need to do some research before committing your money and your sanity to an exercise that will only serve to improve your life in the long run.
