Thomas Albaugh was raised in Missouri and attended college at the University of the Holy Cross, studying English literature while working on becoming a Catholic priest; however, due to church’s passive stance towards civil rights issues he decided instead to attend law school instead.

Personal Life

Thomas Albaugh passed away at Kline Hospice House in Frederick, Maryland on July 9, 2011 at age 81. A lifelong farmer, Thomas was particularly fond of attending tractor pulls and farm sales – as well as restoring antique trunks he collected as part of his hobby. Thomas is survived by his wife June A. Etzler Albaugh; daughter Lynn Stevenson with Eddie Stevenson as her spouse; four grandchildren (Kevin Stevenson (Kristina), Kristen Bogley with JJ as her fiance, Scott Albaugh,and Keegan Albaugh); six great-grandchildren plus numerous nieces & nephews

He was also a member of Mt. Pleasant United Church of Christ and has requested memorial contributions be made either to this institution or The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics in his memory. He will be cremated and laid to rest at Black Rock Cemetery, Manheim Pennsylvania.
