The Voice Results From Last Night
The Voice results from last night left us with a handful of shocking eliminations and a lot of questions for the next week. It was a wild night on the show, with fans getting to hear some of the coaches’ critiques, and the public voting on which singers should be sent home.
The first results show of the season saw a big vote reveal, leaving one coach’s team out and sending three other teams into the elimination round. The top five artists voted into the final round included Team Blake’s bodie, Brayden Lape and Bryce Leatherwood, along with Team John Legend’s Omar Jose Cardona and Team Gwen Stefani’s Morgan Myles.
With only a few spots left for the remaining singers, Team Blake had to make some tough choices. The longtime coach’s bodie and Brayden Lape were voted into the finale and were joined by Team Shelton’s Bryce Leatherwood, who was a favorite of Shelton’s fans.
It was a bit of a shock to see the country-est of the country singers sent home, but then again, it was pretty darn impressive to watch Team Shelton’s bodie come out on top with “Hillbilly Bone,” so he was probably deservedly safe. The other two finalists battling it out for the final spot were Team Gwen’s Morgan Myles and Team John’s Omar Jose Cardona, and both performed well in the performance finale.
But if you’re looking for the best vocalist, it’s hard to go wrong with Team Gwen. The Spiderwebs singer donned a red dress for her finale appearance, and it looked amazing.
Earlier in the week, The Voice’s semi-final Top 8 eliminations were aired live and had plenty of drama as the bottom four singers had to fight it out for a spot in the Instant Save round. Eric Who sang a cover of Miley Cyrus’s “The Climb,” Alyssa Witrado performed Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes,” Devix sung a song by Arctic Monkeys called “R U Mine?” and Kique sang a cover of The Weeknd’s “Earned It.”
In other news, Team Gwen’s Justin Aaron performed Talking Heads’ “Burning Down the House” for his Instant Save audition and it was an epic performance! Then, Kim Cruse and Parijita Bastola also performed for the Instant Save.
The voice results from last night were a mix of excitement and confusion as the top three finalists went back and forth with arguments for why they deserve to win. The performances from the remaining artists, as well as those of their coaches, were all fantastic and showed that the competition is still fiercely competitive.
We’re hoping for a thrilling results show tonight! With a full slate of stars on the stage, including Season 21 winners Girl Named Tom and Kelly Clarkson, it’s sure to be an exciting episode.
